It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Isabel (Abuela) at the age of 81. Born in Melilla, Spain on October 20, 1933 she passed away peacefully on June 20, 2015. A talented homemaker, Isabel loved to dance and sing and cook. One of her greatest pleasures was preparing traditional Spanish meals for her family and friends. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her immense joy in life and will miss their Abba dearly. Predeceased by her husband Raymundo, her parents, one sister and one brother, she will be lovingly remembered by her brother Miguel (Nicole), sisters Pepi (Andre) and Annie, daughters Rose-Marie (Paul) and Marie Elena, sons Jose Antonio (Lavana) and Javier Raymundo (Heather), as well as many other family members and dear friends. “Vaya con Dios.”
Prayers will be offered at McCall Bros. Floral Chapel, Johnson & Vancouver Streets, Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at 7pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, Thursday, July 2nd at 11:30am.
