  2. Penny Williamson says:

    Dear Calvin and family,

I am very sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

Altho, I didn’t personally know your Mother well, I remember all the times she opened her home to Shawn as a young boy up to graduation time. That first bike ride up to the “big house” on the hill was such an adventure.

    When someone you love
    Becomes a memory,
    The memory
    Becomes a treasure,

    Love,
    Penny

  3. Clayton & Debbie Chu says:

I remember visiting at the big house and your mothers kindness and warmth. She grew the most amazing poinsetta’s!

We are unable to attend at the graveside and reception but our prayers will be with you.

    Sincerely,
    Clayton & Debbie

  4. Shawn Williamson says:

    Calvin, Larry, Harreese, and Harold,
My wife Catherine and I wanted to let you know our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families today. Mom passed the news of your Mom’s passing to us yesterday evening here in Nova Scotia; I know the past few days have been the toughest you’ve had. It was just a few days ago (in fact, it could have likely been the 16th) that I thought of your Mom…I was showing my son Andrew San Josef Bay on Google Earth, and as we were looking at the North-end of the Island, I told him about your Mom recalling having lived up there and walking the trail to Shushartie. I have the fondest memories of your Mother and Father, and know they are sadly missed by you all.

    Kind regards,
    Shawn

    Williamson S.M.

  5. Lauren Robinson says:

When I heard of Iris’ passing I felt quite emotional. Not from a feeling of sadness but a feeling of happiness that she and Frank were together at last. They have stood as the Gold Standard for those who choose the married life. They still held hands and snuggled and adored one another after over twenty years of marriage. Frank passed on far too soon. They still continue to be the only couple who’s marriage I admire.
Iris was a true Westcoast woman, spending hours canning and smoking salmon and moose. Most of all she loved her family more than anything. I’m sure the loss is overwhelming.
God bless you in this time of sorrow.
