April 22, 1929 – July 12, 2015
It is with great sadness, we must say goodbye to our wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. We will meet again in the future. Irene was a registered nurse, a woman of many talents and active in many organizations. She was a long time member of the Victoria Lapidary and Mineral Society. Irene is survived by John, her husband of 59 years; her children, Kari (Dave), Jeremy (Ann), Roderick (Gillian), Gregory, Rory and Ian (Laura) and her grandchildren, Tanya, Sheri, Kenny, Julia, Russell, Graeme, Andrea and Trevor and seven great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at Sequoia Gardens Memorial, 4665 Falaise Drive, at 10:00 am on Friday, July 17, 2015. In lieu of flowers, donations in Irene’s memory would be appreciated to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Condolences may be offered to the family below:
