I was so lucky to have my Aunty Hilda for as long as I did – she was the best Granty I could have asked for. I already miss her deeply. I’m not sure what we’ll do without her at the many family get togethers that we shared. She was an amazing woman with many, many people who loved her.

    Much love from Delana

Hi Dave! What a wonderful mother you were blessed to have. I will always remember Hilda and Alec coming to Quadra Island to check up on who their son was partying with and your parents joined in and we had so much fun. The picture of Hilda just brought smiles as that was what she did. She loved life! Joy to you and your family. You are so lucky to have had Hilda in all your lives. Love to you. June and Per

Dear David and family, we are so sorry to hear of the loss of your Mom. Hilda was a wonderful neighbor and friend to us on Swan Street. She and your father were always known as Aunty Hilda and Uncle Alec. They were always included in many family celebrations and events. On a recent visit to her, we shared many many memories and laughed of those good times. We hope your memories will help you through this sad time. She lived a wonderful long and happy life.

Our deepest condolences on the passing of Aunt Hilda. She was a kind, loving and wonderful woman who will be deeply missed. From dancing with the WWII vets at the Legion on Remembrance Day to sharing in the celebration of our daughter Krystal’s wedding, she was always there to share in the wonderful times with family.

We were all blessed to have been touched by her, and will miss her terribly. I can only hope that I live as long and with as much dignity and grace as she did.

All our love to Uncle Dave, Deb and the family.
