Helen died on November 30, 2014 after a short illness. Born in 1919 in London, England, Mum came to Canada as a war bride. Predeceased by son, David and grandson, Andrew, she is survived by her devoted husband of seventy years, Ron; her children, Linda King, Jim (Penny) Parker, and Anne (John) Fawcett; her grandchildren, Colleen, Matt, Ben, Dan, Helen, Mary and George and great-grandchildren, Gina, Naomi, Isaac, Patrick, Claire, Rose and Valerie. An avid reader, a lover of poetry and sports, and a solver of cryptic crosswords right to the end!
A Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady Queen of Peace, 849 Old Esquimalt Road at 12:10 on Friday, December 5th. Reception to follow in church hall.
