We never met but you were always thought of fondly. Your Mother and My Grandmother were sisters so we are related. What a shame we could not trace you before your passing, though not for want of trying. Sincerest condolences to the family from us here in Hampshire England. PO15 5NA

My mom’s neighbour passed away and I was looking for his funeral arrangements and came across the lovely picture of your mom. My mom (Vera) always liked your mom, and would often seek her out at the Eaton’s store to have a chat. I visited your dad at the hospital and your mom was there as well. I have fond memories of you all. You older girls supplied my mom with much needed hand me down clothes, all very nice and mostly likely hand made by your mom. My mom passed about three years ago, and so I know what it is like to have these wonderful people in your life for a long time. Take care all of you, Kristine.

I have fond memories of Gwen at Eaton’s. I was in charge of the cash office for many years and enjoyed sharing time with Gwen at breaks and in her department. I had to pass by her department en route to the dining room in the old store and always managed to find something to buy even although I was “only looking”!!!!! She had a great sense of humour which I enjoyed as a fellow Brit. ( Scottish). I am sure she left a lot of good memories for her family to remember.
    Goodbye Gwen.
