Born June 15, 1927 in Calgary, AB, George passed away on May 20, 2014 in Victoria, BC. With his family by his side, George left us to soar with the eagles and reunite once again with his loving wife Donna (nee Fralick) whom was taken suddenly in 2010.
Predeceased also by his parents, Margaret (nee Meyers) and Peter; sister, Fran and brothers-in-law, John and George. He will be deeply missed by his children, Gary (Norma) and Patricia (Don); grandchildren, Brian, Pam (Nate), Becky, Donna, David, Ian; great-grandchild, Zackary; sisters, Marjorie and Doreen (Jim); brother Jack (Marjorie); good friend, Gladys. George enjoyed curling and bowling in the earlier years of his life. He worked for CPR in the rail yards in Calgary, AB and upon moving to Victoria, BC in the mid 70’s loved being a custodian for the School Board, retiring his brooms at Frank Hobbs Elementary.
