It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mom, Frances Stewart (nee Nicolson), on March 31, 2015 in Victoria, BC. Predeceased by her husband, Ronald, in 1987 in Victoria, BC and by several siblings overseas. Frances is survived by her children, Craig (Johanna), Rona (Ian), Blair, and Moira (Stephen) and her grandchildren, Cole and Kalen, James and Katie, Ben and Andrew, and Luke and Jacob.

Fiercely proud to have been born in Aberdeen, Scotland, Frances had a wit as sharp as a thistle. A lover of all animals, Frances considered herself aptly named – St. Francis was the Patron Saint of Animals.

A Celebration of Frances’ life will be held at McCALL’S SEQUOIA GARDENS MEMORIAL, 4665 Falaise Drive, on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 12:00 noon.

In lieu of flowers, Frances would insist that donations may be made to the Victoria Branch of the BCSPCA, 3150 Napier Lane, Victoria, BC, V8T 4V5.

Condolences to the family may be offered below.
