Florence Irene Hill

October 22, 1922 – February 27, 2009

Mom passed away peacefully at home in the arms of her daughter, Ruth; sister, Louise and Pastor Dennis at her side. Florence was predeceased by her husband, Harry in 2001. Mom leaves behind her son, Harry (Pat); daughters, Beverley and Ruth (Nelson); her two sisters, Louise and Alice; sister-in-law, Grace; six grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends. Florence was a remarkable woman with unconditional love and compassion for everyone she met. Many thanks to Dr. Miles and Beacon Community Services for all their support.

A Funeral Service will be held in OAKLANDS CHAPEL, 2736 Fernwood Road on Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Dennis Scott officiating, followed by a reception. Interment thereafter at Royal Oak Burial Park. Donations may be made to the Camp Imadene Foundation in memory of Florence.

    I remember your Mum from my days at Woodwards.

    In my career I worked in 12 different stores. I can say in all honesty Flo was one of the most considerate, friendly and conscientious person I ever worked with.
