March 15, 1920 – August 18, 2015

Esther was born in Northumberland, England and lived a varied life from being in service from the age of 13 until she was called up for the army when she was 21. She married Jack in 1942 and they had two daughters, Anne and Dora. In 1957 they all immigrated to Canada and settled in Victoria, BC.   Jack passed away in 2002, shortly after their 60th wedding anniversary.   She is survived by Anne (Gordon), Dora (Peter); five grandchildren and their spouses and seven great grandchildren and family in England. She will be missed.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at Christ Church Cathedral – The Lady Chapel with the Very Reverend Ansley Tucker officiating. A reception will be held in the Chapter Room after the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Christ Church Cathedral Building Fund. Condolences may be offered to the family below.
