    Dear Garry and Debbie:
I simply wanted to offer my condolences as you remember your remarkable mother.
Your mom and dad always had four university students living downstairs. I remember being “welcomed into your family” in my first year at UVic. You saw what your mom did for each of us and you will know what I mean.
Your mom was one of the most beautiful people I ever knew. All of us who had the privilege of staying with your family felt the same way.
My thoughts are with you now.

My sincerest condolences to Gary and Debbie. I have very fond memories of Auntie Else/Mrs Laumann. From when I used to come by to practice piano on her piano in the basement (which admittedly, wasn’t often enough), to the treats she used to drop by for us, and especially her spaghetti – the best spaghetti in the world (and I’m so glad I was able to let her know that when we visited last summer!!). She will definately be missed by everyone on the street.

My condolence go out to the family and especially to Garry n Melody who were there for Else to the very end. Although I am not family, she made me feel so comfortable in her presence, that I felt like like one of the clan. She was a grand lady and will be surely missed.
