Messages of Condolence

  1. WAYNE & NOELLA SENNETT says:

We were very sorry to hear of Elizabeths passing and were pleased to be able to attend her funeral. She and John were a most influential couple in their lives in and out of the church. They were great friends of Wayne’s Father and Step Mother, Max & Oda Sennett in Banff. Also, John presided at Max and Oda’s wedding in Banff as well as ours in Victoria. Wayne remembers one of the highlights of growing up in Banff was attending Sunday school and later church as well as various youth groups at Rundle United Church .

Max, Oda and Wayne felt privileged to have known the Travis family during the Banff days as well as in Victoria and I felt honoured to have met the Travis family before and after my marriage to Wayne in 1977.

Oda passed away in 1989 and Max in 2005.

Elizabeth will be remembered by us as a gracious and lovely lady and she will be missed.

Our condolences to John and the family.

    Noella & Wayne Sennett

  2. Sheila Marshall says:

I first met Elizabeth when her and John came to Maple Ridge United Church. I can still see her as she was then…..so refined and elegant. She was always so friendly to everyone in the church and community. I loved her charming wit. So many of her features still stand out in my mind today. I will always remember her beautiful hands and when visiting her at Mt. St. Mary’s I held those same unchanged hands, still so beautiful. She will remain in so many hearts for eternity. I am blessed to have known her.
