Elizabeth Margaret, born 26 July 1930 in Victoria, to Dr and Mrs. Harold Ridewood, the youngest of four children. Attended St Christopher’s School, Norfolk House School and Victoria College. Survived by her husband of 63 years, Cdr. Macgregor Macintosh, and daughters Tessa (Mike), Catriona (deceased), Alexandra, Sara (Mike) and son Malcolm (Susan) and ‘Darling’s’ grandchildren, Ora-naja, Alexander, Anjelica, Macgregor, Keegan, Nikolas and Katrina. Places Elizabeth called home included Victoria, Halifax, Toronto, Ottawa and overseas in London, Cornwall and Londonderry. Liz worked in several hospitals across Canada, and retired from medical transcription at the Jubilee & VGH. Her interests in life were diverse; a passionate student of ancient philosophy through the Theosophical Society, a spiritual seeker, a Sai Baba devotee – twice visiting India. She made a memorable impression on all who knew her.

Darling Lizzie will be joyfully remembered in a celebration of her life and spirit, to be held at Holy Trinity Church on Monday, June 8th at 2pm, 1319 Mills Road, North Saanich, BC.  Condolences may be offered to the family below.
