Elizabeth (Betty) Carlson-Swanson (nee Swanson)

Passed away, on January 12, 2012, in Victoria, BC. She was born on July 23, 1929, in Bassano, Alberta.

Predeceased by her first husband, Roy, in 1993; Betty is survived by her second husband, Wally Swanson, by her children Terry and wife Connie, Gerry and wife Colleen, grandchildren, Andrea, Jillian, Adam and their spouses, great-grandchildren, Isabella and Liam, her sister Anita, sister-in-law, Gloria and bother-in-law, Mac, and numerous nieces, nephews, step-children, step-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.

A celebration of Betty’s life was held at Glad Tidings Church, on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 11:00 a.m.. A reception followed in the church auditorium.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson Society British Columbia, #600 – 890 West Pender St., Vancouver, BC, V6C 1J9.
