Edythe was born in Victoria, BC on May 17, 1920 and she passed away on July 5, 2014 of heart and stroke complications.  She is the daughter of Francis and Alice Drake.  Edythe is the descendent of the first colonists who arrived by the English ships Norman Morrison to Victoria in 1850 and the Royal Princess to Nanaimo in 1854.   Her pioneer relations were Pike, Lidgate and Malpass.  She was predeceased by her husband, John H.V. Callow in 1993.  Edythe is survived and deeply missed by son, Richard and granddaughters, Debra with husband, Kevin and Jennifer Callow, as well as her second son, Neil and his wife, Germana. Mom embraced life and was a kind, loving, considerate and a gentle soul to all.  She enjoyed playing bridge, ballroom dancing, walking her dog, piano, exercise classes, sewing, knitting, fishing, traveling, having fun on family picnics and dinner parties. Many thanks to the caregivers and staff at the Jubilee Hospital and Rose Manor.
