HARTLAND Edward (Ted) – Passed away peacefully on July 30, 2009 in Victoria, BC at the age of 90 years. A resident of Victoria for many years, he is survived by his loving wife, Eva; nieces and nephews in England and Germany; also numerous relatives and friends in Victoria. He was predeceased by his brother Thomas, in England, in 1994. Ted had served with the RAF during the Second World War and had been an active member of First Metropolitan United Church and a Charter member of the Acti-Mets Club. A Service of Remembrance will be conducted from FIRST METROPOLITAN UNITED CHURCH, 932 Balmoral Road on Thursday, August 6th at 2:00 pm followed by a reception. Flowers are gratefully declined, tributes, if desired, may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
