May passed away peacefully on April 15, 2014 at the age of 101 ½. She was born in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England and came to Victoria with her family in April 1923 where she lived the rest of her life. May was predeceased by her husband, Dick, in 1968. She was a feisty little lady up to the end. May is survived by her niece and cousins.
