November 14, 1925 – February 7, 2015
It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of our much loved mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Jean passed away peacefully on February 7, 2015 at Hospice. She is survived by her children, Virginia and Jamie, 4 grandchildren, Jonathan , James (Katiegene), Carla (Paul), Dan (Melissa) and 4 great grandchildren, Autumn, Maverick, Draven and Abbi. Her greatest joy was her family. We love you! No service by request. Condolences may be offered to the family below.

Bonnie Harbidge My aunt, Bonnie, & mum, Pat Sanders, were members of various Island Trefoil Guilds. Mum died in 2012; Bonnie lives in Comox without benefit of computer & has asked me to relay her condolences. All three were ardent Trefoilers!

We all have a lot of memories over many years ; Jean – always there at the office working with our dad, Len, since the early fifties; the English pram for the babies (you 2), her mother’s house on Newport and lots of cats; her kindness , old stories, and laughter. We are glad to have known her and appreciate the help she gave us!

Dear Virginia,
I had never met your mother, but over the years I heard so many nice things about her from my friend, Joan Mahabir.
Joan, for a number of years, was my neighbour on Newport Avenue. and was a friend of your mother’s since their Girl Guide days.
I worked with you many years ago at the Memorial Pavilion and have pleasant memories of those days.
My thoughts are with you at this time.
