Hi Mom. I miss you. I will forever. I love you. Your Karen.

  • Jane (Watson) Aucoin

When I noticed your mother’s name in the Obituaries of the Telegram in St. John’s, I wanted to send my condolences to her family. “Miss Lockwood” was the first, and only, art teacher that I had when at PWC in St. John’s and I did so admire her. She was very encouraging of me and my attempts at art. Later, your family lived next door to me, my mother, Ethel Watson, and my grandmother, Mrs. Enid Murphy, on Berteau Ave., but I was away at college a lot at this time. Your dad often drove me to my summer job at the Confederation Bldg. I remember them both fondly. My sincere sympathies on your loss. Jane Aucoin

I am saddened to hear of the passing of Chris. A true lady in every sense of the word. She always had a smile even after her leg was pulled. Her pride in her family was evident and shining at all times.
It was my privilege to have Chris and Bob as my neighbors for many years. They were the best!
To all of you ‘kids’ who I also had the pleasure to meet many times please know that I share your tears.
Take care of yourselves and hug each other. May the memories of one of the finest people I have known make the grief a bit easier to bear.
    Bob
