Doris James (nee Doria Ragaa Mohamed Badr)

Doris James – (Doria Ragaa Mohamed Badr – maiden name), died peacefully on December 16th in Victoria BC. She was born on June 1st 1935 in Suez, Egypt.

Survived by her husband Michael, and son, Joseph James, Doris will be missed by family and friends.

Doris and Michael met in Cairo Egypt. Doris agreed to marry Michael on their third date. Joseph was born in 1967 and the family moved to Canada.

Doris took great pleasure in raising her son Joseph, gardening and spending time with her family. In later years, Doris took care of her husband Michael.

A service for Doris will be held at McCall’s Chapel on Johnson/Vancouver Street on Friday December 23rd at 1:00pm.
