Dave was part of a team of Christian men who gave of their free time to evangelize young men and direct their lives. Dave’s quiet strong devotion and commitment to “Covenanters” led me to Christ and being a Born Again Christian when I really needed direction in my life. I am sure that the grace of God is on all that happens to Dave as he enjoys life ever after in heaven with Mr. Woodward and Nick Youritchuk. Thanks Dave! Job well done!

We are saddened to learn of Dave’s having passed away. We have known him for almost 30 years and over all that time he was a constant source of encouragement to us in the ministry of evangelism to which we are called. We will greatly miss his warm smile and his quiet godly demeanour. There was no fuss with Dave but he was real. How thankful we are for rich memories. Please accept our heart felt condolences at this time.

    To Dave’s family,

Mr. Deprose was an integral part of my conversion to Christianity, through Covenanters youth group. He was kind, generous & always encouraging. His completely non-judgemental acceptance of me & my mates, always full to overflowing with mischief & his unwavering commitment to Christ helped shape the man I am today. I am deeply grateful to him & so thankful for him. I will never forget his example. May God comfort you with your many memories & may His peace sustain you. I hadn’t seen Mr. Deprose for years but I will never forget him.

    Blessings,
    Larry Mais & family
