I was very saddened to hear of Darlene's passing. I had worked with her at the market on millstream, whenever she saw me she always asked how i was doing and had the most beautiful smile. She made me feel really happy even when i felt crappy, she was a wonderful person and I will never forget her!

Ron, what can we say? Darlene was so much a part of our lives that we find it difficult to imagine that we will not hear her beautiful, warm voice over the telephone. As always, even as her health deteriorated, she remained concerned about everyone else's well-being - making sure that there were no tears & no sadness as she continued to battle her illness. As you know so well, she was a beautiful lady who loved her friends well and loved you more than words can express. Please try and take comfort in the fact that she will remain in our hearts forever and the lessons she taught us regarding spirit, love and friendship will bind us all together forever.

Dear Ron and family of Darlene

Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers with the loss of Darlene. It was so nice to reconnect with you at Uncle Roland's funeral and so sad to think of what you had to face immediately after. I pray that family and friends will help you to get through and that one day your memories will replace your pain.

With Love,
Marlene

Ron & Family of Darlene;
I was so saddened to hear about Darlene.
I had the pleasure of working with Darlene at Main Office, Victoria and like many others have already said, she was such a wonderful
person, always so upbeat and happy.
She will be sadly missed by so many of her friends and family.
Take care Ron

My sincere condolences go to the family and close friends of Darlene. What a wonderful lady....always smiling, cheerful, energetic and a true JOY to be around! I recall working with Darlene at Victoria Main office and she was always so welcoming. I would also see her at The Market On Millstream while I shopped and she was forever smiling. Heaven is a lucky place to be able to have her in it and she is likely smiling down on the world with her wonderful smile!

Ron I am so sorry to hear of Darlene's passing. The last time I spoke with her a few weeks ago, she still had such a positive outlook and burning conviction that she would beat her dreadful disease. Darlene's passing leaves such a vast hole in so many lives that she touched. In our time together in BMO, I always knew her to be so happy, full of fun, helpful and a real friend. She attracted others to her by her wonderful smile. I know her BMO buddies will be sharing many fun memories of Darlene. It was a pleasure knowing her, gone far too soon, but will never be forgotten.
Take care Ron.....Diana Patterson

Darlene will be missed by all the people whose lives she touched. It was always a pleasure to spend time with her and we shared many happy celebrations together with " the girls ". Her smile could light up a room and her kindness will always be remembered. You are in my thoughts Ron, I am so sorry for your loss. Darlene was a very special person.

Darlene, my lady
I am going to miss your laugh. Every time we talked, I always hear your cheerful voice. Even we only worked together for a short period of time in BMO, we always tried to get together when I come to Victoria. Ron, I am so sorry for your loss. We will miss her so much.
