Wow!!! A year flies by SO fast!! I remember meeting you all in Kitimat in the early 70s, then again in Duncan in the later years! I remember being so saddened by the loss of both your Mom AND Dad within a few short months! Cannot imagine the pain in your hearts! Sadly, a few short weeks after your Mom passed away, my Mom was diagnosed with cancer! She then died in August 2015! So now I can truly understand the pain of watching your Mom fade away and die from this horrible disease!! Thinking of you all with sympathy and love as you remember your Mom and Dad…. Absolutely LOVE the photo you chose for this!! Totally sums up your mom for me! Beautiful! Always with a radiant smile! Healthy! Look forward to sharing your joy on that happy day when they come back to live again, thanks to Jehovah!!
    Sincerely, Tracy

Mom and dad got baptised in Kitimat in 70/71. Craig and Connie were their first Bible study. They have great stories of those early years and the great changes the Mc Clures made to become dedicated themselves. Our lives crossed again when they moved to Duncan. And the family grew.
Please accept my feelings of sadness for your family. I mostly got to know Sumer as an adult but do remember the other kids when small.
With so much sickness, I imagine these last years have been a trial for all. I do hope you can tuck away the happier and healthier times and memories , to pull out later for some laughs and tears and good reflections. Your parents lived a big life. Pray for a calm heart. Love Susie

I have known Connie since her and Craig moved to Duncan in the 80s…she had a radiant and infectious smile and laugh….and beautiful red hair….. Together they raised a family of truly beautiful sons and daughters, they were so blessed. My condolences to all of you kids, it was a hard struggle and you all were there to support your mom in the best way you could.
I am grateful for the time I got to spend with Connie this past year, and Craig too..and am looking forward to the time when all sleeping in the grave will wake up in the new world where there will be no more pain or suffering.

We are so so sorry to hear. We met your parents in 1998 in Courtenay, BC but never stayed in touch. Our love goes out to all of the McClure Family during this difficult time. I remember Connie was always there to light up the room with her smile and encouraging words. She was a wonderful person. We are truly blessed to have known her.

I haven’t seen Connie for years since I moved to the states. I have her beautiful paintings of orcas in my living room. We were in the same congregation in Victoria. She did my nails and we had such nice visits together. She loved her family very much, always talking about you all. I’m really sad for your loss of your beautiful mother. She had a strong well founded faith in the Bible’s hope of the resurrection. I hope you also take comfort in this . Sincerely Angela Goings and family

I met your parents in 1999. They offert me a place to stay during my vacation on Vancouver Island. I ‘ve never met them, but as we are brothers and sisters it was such a warm welcome. It was like we were friends for a long time. They are both in my heart forever and can’t waite for the moment that our God Jehovah will call them! Connie made a beautiful neckless for me with her name and date. Beautiful memory to a special friend. Dear family, I wish you strengh and may Jehovah guide and comfort you all.

My beautiful Connie was very special in many ways. Her love for art came from her heart and especially her love for Jehovah was very strong. She and I would talk about many things while she did my nails. One day I just happen to mention that I had study for a very short time, while I lived in Ottawa. Well that was all it took. She immediately asked me if I would like to study again, and I said actually there is a sister who brings me the magazines and when I told her that it was Liz Cole, well she got very excited. So I had just got home from my appointment when the phone rang and it was Liz Cole who just happened to have gotten a call from Connie. Well I am now baptized and I owe it all to that beautiful sister. I am so looking forward to seeing her again in the new system. I would like her family to know that the really had a very special mother and father. Jehovah will remember them with love.
