Clara Evelyn Wilson

WILSON, Clara Evelyn died April 10, 2009 at VGH. She was born May 5, 1915 in Swalwell, Alberta. She was predeceased by her beloved sister, Marion in 2004. A graduate of Oak Bay High School, Victoria College and UVic; she worked as a bookkeeper for the provincial government for many years. She was a long-time member of the Oak Bay United Church, and particularly enjoyed the Friday Fellowship Group. She was also active at the Monterey Community Centre where she played crib and attended photo club meetings. Her family and friends will remember her spirited presence, her commitment and her generosity. A Memorial Service will be held at Oak Bay United Church, 1355 Mitchell Street on Wednesday, May 6th at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Oak Bay United Church.
