Googled Charlie and found this and wish to offer my belated condolences. Charlie was inspiring and I'll never forget something he told me that often comes to my mind when I feel like I don't have time to do things that are important...He said, "Everyone has the same 24 hours per day." My grandfather passed down a tape "Why fish strike" to me about 15 years ago, he has since passed away and I am now a father. My son and I have watched this same video and I still find it facinating. I was a newbie to the TV industry and Charlie was very supportive in our dealings. As former owner of CHEK we had some dealings and worked on some projects together. Charlie always had great spirit. We last talked in 2006 as part of CHEK's 50th anniversary. He means a lot to the legacy of CHEK and I only hope to do contribute my small part to that memory.
