Catherine “Katie” Ferguson

Catherine Ferguson (Katie) passed away peacefully in Aberdeen Hospital on February 24, 2009 with her loving daughter, Mary, by her side. Katie was born in Prince Rupert on July 25, 1913. Predeceased by her husband James Stuart (1967) and her sister Edna (2002), she is survived by her daughter Mary, her sister Irene, nieces and nephews. Katie was a long time member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.

A funeral service will be held at McCALL BROS. FLORAL CHAPEL, Johnson and Vancouver Streets, on Friday, March 13, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Royal Oak Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Aberdeen Hospital, Lansdowne Unit, where she was well cared for in her final days.
