Bonnie passed away peacefully on September 29, 2015. Bonnie was born in Saskatchewan and moved to Toronto as soon as she finished school. There she met Jack and they were married before moving to Victoria, BC to join her sister, Doris and family in 1949. Bonnie always had a flair for fashion and she worked for many years at D’Allaird’s Ladies Clothing on Yates Street in Victoria. Her garden on Richmond Avenue was her pride and joy. Her faith and church community were an important part of her life. Bonnie was predeceased by her husband, Jack and her son, Christopher. She was also predeceased by her sisters, Doris and Sophie and brothers, Isadore, Steven and Eugene. Bonnie will be remembered by her nieces and nephews and their families. Bonnie spent the past 8 years at Glengarry Hospital. Her niece, Vivian would like to thank the staff at Chandler Unit for their excellent and loving care.
A Funeral Service and Reception will be held at McCall’s Downtown, Johnson & Vancouver Streets on Friday, October 16, 2015 at 1:00 pm. Condolences may be offered to the family below.
