Beatrice died peacefully on March 9, 2015 after a short stay in Hospice in Victoria, BC. She was born on October 24, 1929 in Judah, Alberta.

Predeceased by her husband Hugh in 2007, Betty is survived by her daughter Carol-Ann (Michael); step-daughter Isabel (Tony); granddaughters Susanna, Patricia, and Anne; sisters Sadie and Carol; brother David (Barb), as well as many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by many other relatives and friends.

A celebration of Betty’s life will be held at the Church of St. John the Divine, 1611 Quadra St., on Palm Sunday, March 29, 2015 at 1:30pm with the Rev. Alastair McCollum officiating. Betty’s ashes will be interred in St. John’s Memorial Garden immediately following the service with a reception to follow in the church.
