Passed away peacefully into her Lord’s presence on Feb. 24, 2010 at the RJH in Victoria BC where she had been lovingly cared for for the last 3 months. Annie was born in Victor, Alberta on June 22, 1916 to Robert and Lovina Duncan. She met hte love of her life Bert (Hubert) Ellner at the 1956 Empress Hotel Christmas Party. Bert and Annie were married June 8, 1957.
Annie was predeceased by her beloved husband Bert (2003); sibling Mary Elizabeth, Frances, Lovina, Robert Jr., Alice, Florence, Margaret and Phyllis; niece Carol O’ Conner; nephews Daniel Dobson and Russell Farwell; great niece Helen Fawell and great nephew Robert Gustafson.
She leaves to mourn her passing daughters Sandra and Teresa; grandsons Rodger and Christian Wright; great grandsons Dorrian and Korben; brother Bill (Agnes) Duncan; sisters Myrtle Dobson and Mabel (Martin) Hoydal, many nieces, nephews and especially “her boy” Michael Farrell.
She will be remembered for her gentle spirit and greatly missed by all who knew her.
