March 6, 1924 – February 8, 2015

“Sometimes our road becomes too weary ….”

A life well lived and appreciated.  Predeceased by his wife, Darlene, in 2005.  Shall be remembered with love and affection by his daughter, Elaine and son-in-law, Bruce; his grandson, Marcus and his wife, Alisa; their children, Karis and Anika; his grandson, Kris and his wife Jan; their children, Joe and Liv.  Profound gratitude to Dr. Colella and Dr. Ridler who held the wisdom and compassion to give Dad a deserved dignity to his end of life. Precious thoughts extended to nurse, Barb White, for her sensitivity.  Dad’s passing was eased with his nursing care on 4 North West led by nurse, Joann.

“Your family has breathed easier because you have lived.”  Thank you for being cherished, Dad.

A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Andrew’s Cathedral on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at 12:00 Noon. Condolences may be offered to the family below.

  • siegfried & Bernice Mehlitz

So many wonderful moments and meaningful times shared together with Adam, Darlene and Elaine for more than six decades so it is with broken heart, tears on our faces and left with only the never to be forgotten memories which we all were so fortunate now to be able to bring to our thoughts and be forever thankful to our Lord for granting these pleasures to all of us. To Elaine, Bruce and children, we do hope and pray that the legacy your parents have left both Siegfried and myself shall be carried on by both of you for many more decades to come, God so willing.

The Huck’s and Lapointe’s date back to 1957 in Brandon, Man.
What wonderful friends they turned out to be.

We crossed paths in N.B. and also in Yuma, Arizona.
Penny you were the light of their life. And of course the grandchildren.
Adam has left us all with a great legacy of memories.
    May he rest in peace.
