HILL, Jared Ross Passed away suddenly on September 22, 2007 in Victoria. Jared was born on June 10, 1985 in Victoria and is loved and missed more than words can say by his parents, Kathy and Ross, his sister Jane and brother Joel, his grandparents, Nadene and Ken Hill (Shawnigan Lake) and Betty and Mel Smith (Qualicum), as well as his uncles and aunts and cousins, Wade Hill (Paris), Brett and Lisa Hill, Louise, Barry, Julie and Richard Martin (Duncan), Lee, Laurie, Garret and Madison Hill (Prince George), Maureen Smith, Alex, Laura, and Emma Thorne (Vancouver), Debbie Smith and Heather Smith (Nanaimo). He is also missed and remembered by the Jackson’s, Woodward’s and Kim Thorne, as well as his buddies and their families in Gordon Head (HP7) and his girl friend Devon who shared his passion for water skiing. Jared loved being with his family and friends. He loved to sing, listen to music, play his guitar, water-ski, play soccer and hockey and watch the Canucks. He was working towards becoming an accountant. He left us much too soon and we will miss his bright smile, caring nature and his love. A funeral was held in the Arbutus Middle School gym (2306 Edgelow) on Saturday, September 29 at 2pm. Flowers gratefully declined and in lieu of flowers donations may be made to research for Diabetes or Cancer; the Camosun College Foundation or the Victoria Hospitals Foundation.
