Egan – Wm. Dwight died peacefully at his home, Portland, Oregon on October 16, 2007, in his 59th year. Predeceased by his parents, William and Frances Egan; Dwight is survived by his loving wife, Joanne Grant; daughter, Laura (Miguel) Manriquez, of Capitola, CA; granddaughter, Victoria “Tia”; sisters, Lois (Thomas) Heppell of Victoria and Deborah (Hal) Brook, of Orangeville, ON; brother, Paul (Lynne) Egan of Bolton, ON; nieces, Janice (Klaus) Vogel, Heather Egan, Elaine (Steve) Flanigan, Kim (Alan) Madill, and Patrice (Fred) Patterson; nephew, Robin Heppell; Joanne’s family: sons, Charles (Nancy) Adams, Brian Adams, and Richard (Michelle) Adams; grandchildren, Tammi (Tim), Charles (Mindy), Katie and Kylee Marie; great-grandsons, Sean, Ryan and Evan; plus many other relatives and friends.

After graduating from high school in Ontario, Dwight came to Victoria where he began his career in the travel industry. He spent the last 20 years in Portland with Joanne, her family and their dogs.

A celebration of Dwight’s life will be held in May 2008 in Oregon.
