passed away in Victoria, BC on September 27th 2006. He was born in Toronto, Ontario on November 2, 1925. Survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Audrey Frith; daughter Betty (Ken Martens); sons Joe, Tom (Nancy Frith); grandchildren Kelly, Brad, Troy, Jared and Derek.

Bill was educated at Williamson Road Public School and Malvern Collegiate. He served in the RCAF during WW II as an Air Navigator. After the war, Bill worked as a telephone man in Toronto, Ontario and Calgary, Alberta. He then moved to Victoria, BC and was a postman until retirement when he became a full time golfer at the Gorge Vale Golf Club. Private Family Service. Bill will be watching his golf buddies from above.

Born in Radville, Saskatchewan passed in the presence of his loved ones, in Victoria on September 27, 2006. Lloyd leaves Ann (Irene) his wife of 58 years; children Len (Rose), Sandy (Rick), Marlene (Bill) and Lorne; granddaughter, Tara. Survived by his sister, Lorna, nieces, nephews and cousins. Lloyd joined the RCAF in 1942, serving in England during the Second World War and was stationed in Trenton, Bagotville, Metz, Zweibrucken, Ottawa, Cold Lake, retiring from the Air Force 1970. He worked at Sears from 1972-1980. He was loved and will be greatly missed by all.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2006, 11:00 am at Sequoia Gardens Memorial, 4665 Falaise Drive, Victoria BC.

McEWAN, Angus Davidson – We wish to announce the peaceful passing of Angus on September 19th at Mt. Tolmie Hospital. A native Victorian, Angus was born on October 22, 1907. He was predeceased by his wife of 39 years, Pearl and also his long-time companion, Doris Aikman. Angus is survived by his son, Malcolm; and lovingly remembered by his granddaughters, Karlynne (Keith) and Shannon “Dee-Dee” (Shawn). He was a Past Master of Temple Lodge AF & AM #33 GRBC&Y.

A Celebration of Life will be held at McCALL BROS. FLORAL CHAPEL, Johnson and Vancouver Streets on Friday, September 22, 2006 at 3:30 pm. A reception will follow in the Graham & Torrey McCall Family Centre.

Mrs. Mercedes Nardi of Victoria passed away on Friday, September 15, 2006. Mercedes was predeceased by her husband, Cesare. She will be deeply missed by her surviving family: daughter, Lorena and her husband, Roger; daughter, Anna, her husband, Alex, and three grandsons, Andrew, Patrick and Nathan. The family would like to thank all of the staff at the Richmond Pavilion of the Royal Jubilee for their kindness and compassion during this difficult time.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. PATRICK’S ROMAN CATHOLIC PARISH, 2060 Haultain Street, on Wednesday, the 20th of September at 12:10 p.m. Flowers, Mercedes always loved her flowers, or donations to the Canadian Cancer Society.
