HOPPS, Isabel – Passed away peacefully in Victoria, BC on September 30, 2005. Born in Medicine Hat, Alberta on October 6, 1909. Predeceased by her husband, Arnold (Red) in 1973 and brother, Norman Macpherson (1980). She is survived by her loving daughter, Jeanie; sisters, Louise Skinner (Mrs. W.G.) of West Vancouver, Jessie Speer (Mrs. W.D.) of Ottawa; sister-in-law, Ruby Macpherson (Mrs. N.S.) of Edmonton; a niece and several nephews.
Formerly of Edmonton moved to Victoria in 1968. Was a longtime member of Uplands Golf Club.
Our family wish to thank the nursing staff at Glengarry Hospital (Richmond Unit) for their warm care and compassion.
Cremation and a private family service will be held at a later date.

van Druten, Mayme Aletta (nee Opheim) passed away peacefully at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 21, 2005.
Born in Cereal, Alberta on August 3, 1926.
Predeceased by her mother Mattie (Holman) Opheim, her father Ingvald P. Opheim, sisters Ellen and Emmeline.
Survived by her devoted husband (of 56 years) Raymond.
Lovingly remembered by: daughter Beverly Ellen van Druten-Blais (Guy Blais), son R. John van Druten (Tania Hartman), grandaughter Hayley Ellen Mepham, siblings: Phil Martin, Inga Webster and Vernon Opheim, and a myriad of relatives and friends around the world.
Special thanks to the staff at the Beacon Hill Villa for their tender and attentive care.
Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 1st, 2005 at 3:00 p.m.,at McCall Bros.
